Why We Don’t Provide Quotes Over the Phone for AC Repairs

This time of year, we get a lot of calls for people asking for specific AC repair quotes over the phone. We understand how unnerving it can be when your air conditioning stops functioning in the middle of the hottest summer months. Additionally, we know that budget may be a concern when undergoing potential repairs and/or replacements. As much as we would love to be able to give you the exact cost of your issue so you can plan ahead, we hesitate to provide you with that information before we see the issue in person. Read on to learn why this is actually in your best interest!

  1. There are a number of variables our technicians must consider when diagnosing your issue. Some of these factors include the number of units, the style of the unit, the age of the unit and most importantly, the extent of the issue(s). The sheer number of variables make it impossible for us to foresee all costs associated with your issue.
  2. If we provided quotes over the phone without seeing the issue in person, you could end up paying extra! There is no way we can account for all of the factors mentioned in #1. If we were to provide quotes over the phone, we would have to quote you much higher than the actual repair may end up being to ensure we are able to cover our costs.
  3. AC repair calls often have more than one issue. Like most companies, we charge a trip/diagnostic fee to cover the cost of getting a technician to your home. Because our team values your time and money, our technicians thoroughly inspect your entire unit(s) while onsite to pre-empt any issues that may occur in the coming weeks causing you to pay the trip fee a second time.

Our extensively-trained professional AC repair technicians work hard to bring the highest quality of customer service and expertise to each AC repair service trip. We know the importance of saving you time and money while keeping your home cool all summer long. You can help prevent issues by scheduling an AC maintenance appointment, or contact us anytime your home is not cooling properly. Either way, we are here for you!
